Steps for using shrink sleeves

Release Time:2022.05.12

1. Select the corresponding mold shrink sleeve model and specification according to the requirements and check the appearance of the mold shrink sleeve and the size of the ports at both ends. There should be no gaps, and the surface should be smooth and free of defects. 2. Determine the part that needs to use the molded sleeve, and polish and clean the corresponding used part. If you use the molded sleeve without pre-coated glue, you need to wrap 2-3 layers of hot-melt tape on the used part. 3. Put a mold shrink sleeve on the use part, use a heat gun to heat and shrink from the large port of the mold sleeve, fix it, and then slowly heat and shrink to the small port in a 360° spiral until the small port is completely shrunk. The hot melt adhesive on the inner layer melts and shows overflow. 4. Wait for the shrunk molded sleeve to cool down to normal temperature before moving it. If you want to move the shrunk cable quickly, you can use a damp cloth to cool it until it reaches normal temperature. 5. Check the quality after shrinkage. The two ends of the shrink sleeve should be completely tightly wrapped around the use position, and hot melt glue overflows at both ends, and there will be no gaps, bubbles, no cracks on the surface, and aging.
